The Archeotour Cooperative Society was founded in Paulilatino on the 8 of May 1987 with the aim of preserving and enhancing the historical, archaeological, cultural and ethnographic heritage of the Paulilatino area in a productive way.
The cooperative was born thanks to the passion born in the members that in previous years worked and collaborated within voluntary associations such as Pro-loco and Archeological Group.
Thanks to the members’ passion for archeology and the cultural experiences connected with it, the idea of establishing the Archeotour Cooperative with the aim of enhancing and making the Santa Cristina Archaeological Park productive was developed.
Thanks to the structures created by the Municipal Administrations but above all through the stubbornness, fatigue and sacrifice of the working members, the cultural activities have been transformed into real occupational resources, with the conscious renunciation, for some, of university studies, in order to build an entrepreneurial activity similar to a few other in the island.
The Archeotour Cooperative Society is today a real point of reference, for being one of the few and pioneering companies created for the promotion of the cultural heritage of Sardinia.
