UNION OF ELEMENTS

I wanted to summarize the concepts presented in a brand that encompasses them all at the same time.

This fusion creates a graphic sign with an archaic but modern taste for style and character, which wants to remind us of what our ancestors were capable of and wants to convey positivity.

The concentric circles represent the precision with which the well was built, the movement of the water after a drop has reached it and therefore the inexorable flow of time.

Starting from the trapezoidal shape of the entrance to the well, the staircase has been represented, true point of access to the “portal”.

Everything was enclosed by the outline of the keyhole themenos, gathering a sense of union, guardian of the ancient stories that this place full of mystery and energy has yet to tell.

Concept

The Atzori Palace Ethnographic Museum, among many goods, preserves a vital resource by nature: Bread.

Sardinian artistic bread is made of hard dough, and it is prepared in very different shapes which become true art pieces when this bread is prepared for special occasions, especially for weddings and the most important religious holidays such as Confirmations and Baptisms.

Depending on the festivity, the various bread’s shapes range from religious subjects, such as crowns or crosses,
or animals or flowers if they are feast events.

I wanted to summarize the meaning that tradition and work have in a symbol that plays on solidity,
stylizing the “pinches” characteristic of artistic bread.

The graphic sign also wants to represent the walls of the museum, which contains the values ​​of agro-pastoral life,
symbolized by the circle inside.
